Companies which receive foreign investments, that owns assets and/or Net Equity similar or higher than BRL 250,000.000.00 (two hundred and fifty million reais), must quartely update their economic and financial information quarterly, through the Electronic Declaratory Record – Foreign Direct Investment (“RDE-IED”), following the calendar:
Calendar:
- data base of December 31st, the information should be provided by March, 31st of the subsequent year;
- data base of March 31st, the information should be provided by June, 30th;
- data base of June 30th, the information should be provided until September, 30th; and
- data base of September 30th, the information should be provided by December, 31st.
In case of non-compliance Art. 66, chapter IV, of BACEN Resolution No. 131/2021, establish the criteria for the application of fines, whose values can reach up to BRL 250,000.00 (two hundred and fifty thousand reais), in the case of providing incorrect, incomplete information or untimely declaration.
