New system blocks the registration of CPFs on the corporate board of legal entities.

The National Network for the Simplification of the Registration and Legalization of Companies and Businesses (REDESIM), a system that simplifies the opening and legalization of companies, has just launched a new tool to protect your CPF against fraud. Now you can prevent your number from being misused to open companies throughout the country, free of charge.

How does it work?

Anyone who chooses to block their CPF will not be able to register any corporate act with the Commercial Registries, since the system identifies that the CPF is prevented from participating in the corporate framework (QSA) of any type of company, and consequently the registration process will be rejected.

It is important to note that CPF protection is not valid for companies that have already been incorporated, for contractual changes that are already in force, or for future write-offs.

Benefits:

  • Increased security for your CPF: Prevents misuse of your number in fraud and scams.
  • A clearer process: Reduces the risk of having your name in companies without your knowledge.

For accounting professionals:

For accounting professionals who have their CPFs linked to the CNPJs of companies, it is possible to unlink them from the Federal Revenue Office. We remind you that the State Treasury Departments, which are synchronized with the Federal Revenue Service, automatically make the company’s State Registration irregular until a new accounting professional is appointed.

To ensure a smooth and safe experience when unlinking the CPF from REDESIM, for accounting professionals and companies, it is essential that both parties agree so that neither party is harmed.
